Bodoodle and Bodoodle Bridge Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to Bodoodle websites, applications, APIs, hosted services, support channels, and related products, including Bodoodle Bridge. In this policy, "Bodoodle," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the Bodoodle service operator.
Bodoodle Bridge is a companion application used with Bodoodle services and, in some workflows, with ShotMarker electronic target hardware. ShotMarker hardware, firmware, and access-point software are not operated by Bodoodle.
Bodoodle and Bodoodle Bridge are operated by PINPOINT HOLDINGS LLC, 2000 S Batavia Ave, Geneva, IL 60134.
1. Scope
This policy applies when you create or use a Bodoodle account, use event or scoring features, use Bodoodle Bridge to connect to Bodoodle services or local ShotMarker hardware, upload documents, save load-development data, or otherwise interact with the services.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information such as email address, username, password, and profile details.
- Club, event, competitor, and organizer information entered through Bodoodle workflows.
- Contact details, classifications, event-entry details, and remarks.
- Documents, uploads, support messages, equipment records, and load-development notes or sessions.
Authentication and security information
- Login and logout activity, account-security events, IP addresses, and user-agent information.
- Access-token and refresh-token metadata, password-reset workflows, and audit records.
- Passkey or WebAuthn credential information such as credential identifiers, public-key credential material, authenticator metadata, device labels, and last-used timestamps.
Information collected through use of the services
- Event, match, score, squadding, and report data.
- Public or organizer-configured result data.
- Document upload and download records, page-view data, and administrative or operational logs.
Information processed by Bodoodle Bridge on device or local network
- Saved login state, refresh state, cached event data, local settings, lane assignments, and local publisher grants.
- Local ballistics snapshots, load-development session data, and locally saved or imported ShotMarker backup files.
- Host and port information used to connect to ShotMarker access points.
Information from third parties or external systems
- Competitor or event data imported by organizers or administrators.
- Weather information used by event-related features.
- AI-assisted document or match-program extraction results where enabled.
- Subscription or billing-provider identifiers if paid subscription workflows are activated.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and maintain accounts and authenticate users.
- To operate clubs, events, scoring, squadding, public results, reports, documents, and member features.
- To support passkeys, WebAuthn, account recovery, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and audit logging.
- To support Bodoodle Bridge workflows such as event sync, walk-on verification, local target monitoring, load-development workflows, and optional live publishing.
- To provide support, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Data Ownership and Identity Model
Bodoodle uses both account identities and event-linked competitor identities. In general, Bodoodle account data is owned and keyed by the Bodoodle user account. Competitor records are used for scoring, reporting, event entry, lookup, and similar event workflows, but competitor records do not by themselves represent login accounts or ownership of user-authored Bodoodle data.
5. When We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, store, deliver, or support the services; with clubs, organizers, or authorized administrators operating requested workflows; with the public when public results or live scores are intentionally published; with legal authorities where required by law; and in connection with a business transfer or reorganization.
This draft assumes Bodoodle does not sell personal information in the ordinary targeted-advertising sense. That statement should be confirmed before final publication.
6. Service Providers and Infrastructure
Based on the current implementation, Bodoodle may use cloud hosting and storage providers, transactional email infrastructure, weather-data providers, AI or document-processing services for specific optional workflows, and subscription or payment-support infrastructure where applicable.
The current codebase and deployment materials indicate AWS-hosted backend infrastructure and storage, configurable email delivery infrastructure, weather-data integrations, and optional AI-assisted match-program extraction features.
7. Local Network and ShotMarker Connectivity
Bodoodle Bridge can connect directly to ShotMarker access-point hardware on a local Wi-Fi network, commonly using the address 192.168.100.1. In those workflows, the local connection may use HTTP and WebSocket behaviors implemented by the ShotMarker device rather than by Bodoodle.
- Bodoodle does not control the ShotMarker firmware, networking stack, or built-in security posture.
- Data read from the ShotMarker device may remain local unless you use a Bodoodle sync or live-publishing feature.
- Locally downloaded or imported backup data may remain on your device until you delete it.
8. Storage and Retention
We retain account, event, scoring, document, security, and audit data for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain system integrity, and support organizer or member workflows.
Bodoodle Bridge may retain login state, cached events, local settings, local publisher grants, and local ballistics or backup data on the device to support offline or restart-safe use. Logging out or clearing app data may remove some local records, while uninstalling the app may remove additional app-local storage depending on platform behavior.
Retention schedules for audit logs, page-view records, documents, and deleted-account data should be finalized before publication. This draft also does not represent that all Bridge local storage is encrypted at rest on every supported platform.
9. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect information. Based on the current implementation, this includes encrypted HTTPS communication with Bodoodle-hosted APIs, password hashing, token-based authentication, session-expiration controls, account-security rules, and audit logging.
No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed fully secure. In particular, local-network communication between Bodoodle Bridge and ShotMarker hardware may rely on security characteristics controlled by the ShotMarker device rather than by Bodoodle.
10. International Transfers
The current implementation and deployment materials indicate primary infrastructure in the United States, including US East cloud resources. If you access the services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate.
11. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or copies of personal information we hold about you. You may also be able to manage passkeys or WebAuthn credentials linked to your account and manage optional communications or preferences.
Some event records may be controlled by clubs, organizers, or administrators who created or manage those records. In those cases, we may need to coordinate with the relevant organizer before making certain changes.
12. Children's and Minor Data
Bodoodle is not designed primarily as a children's service. However, match or event data entered by organizers may include information about junior competitors or other minors participating in shooting events. Where that occurs, such information is processed to operate event, scoring, and reporting workflows.
13. Public Results and Organizer-Controlled Content
Some Bodoodle features are designed to support public results, public event programs, public documents, and live score publishing. When a user, club, or organizer enables those features, information associated with the event or workflow may become visible to other users or to the public.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice for material changes.
